Trekking parque nacional La Campana

Ok, some time has passed. But I have finally had some time to go through the pics of my little trekking trip through the nice NP of La Campana, between Santiago and the coast. It is one of only two sites where the endangered Chilean palm tree (Jubaea chilensis) is still to be found naturally.

On my first morning, after spending a very restful night, listening to the sounds of nature, including the little degus cracking the palm nuts, while taking sun rise pics, this fellow crossed the viewing angle of my cam.
